• 3D Model Files: STL, OBJ, and 3MF files uploaded by your customers for quote generation.
• Quote Data: Pricing calculations, material selections, and order details.
• Usage Data: How you configure and use the app to improve our service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the MakeQuote service
• Calculate accurate quotes for 3D printing orders
• Process and store customer file uploads
• Improve and optimize our application
• Communicate with you about your account

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using:

• Database: PostgreSQL hosted on Neon (encrypted at rest)
• File Storage: Tigris Storage (S3-compatible, encrypted)
• Hosting: Fly.io with automatic SSL/TLS encryption

Customer uploaded files are retained for 90 days after order completion, then automatically deleted.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information with:

• Shopify: As required for app functionality
• Service Providers: Cloud hosting and storage providers who process data on our behalf
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
